To secure the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) sponsorship, the organizers have provided assurance that ICAP29 will be conducted in accordance with IUPAP principles as stated in the IUPAP resolution passed by the General Assembly in 2008 and 2011. In particular, no bona fide scientist will be excluded from participation on the grounds of national origin, nationality, or political considerations unrelated to science.
It is the policy of IUPAP that all participants in Union activities will enjoy an environment which encourages the free expression and exchange of scientific ideas, and is free from all forms of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
We can offer financial support in the form of a fee waiver to a small number of participants who would not otherwise be able to attend, especially those from developing countries. If you wish to apply for this support, please send a single email to icap29@apm.ac.cn with the following attachments:
A letter (1 or 2 pages) describing (i) your background and circumstances, (ii) the work that you would like to present as a poster and (iii) why you find it important to attend ICAP.
If you are a PhD student or a postdoctoral researcher, a letter of support from your supervisor.
The application deadline is March 10. We aim to let you know the outcome of your application by the end of March. Please be aware that the funds available for this support is limited.
